Manor Close is a complete refurbishment of an existing 3 bedroom house and primarily focuses on reducing circulation space to a minimum and maximising useable space. Without the need for any building extension the ground floor layout was completely reconfigured and the entire rear of the house was opened up to enable a full-width open plan living / dining area, enjoying uninterrupted views of the terrace, garden and modernist, flat-roofed garage/sculpture studio opposite. Vertically hung tiles and old brickwork were replaced with crisp white render and topped by new grey roof tiles. The project was completed in Autumn 2008.
